How Quran teaches us Environmental protection?

The Quran, the holy scripture of Islam, teaches the importance of environmental protection and preservation. Throughout the Quran, there are numerous verses that highlight the importance of taking care of the earth and preserving its resources for future generations.

One of the most fundamental principles in the Quran is the concept of stewardship, or the responsibility that humans have to care for the earth and all its inhabitants. The Quran states, "The earth is Allah's, to give as inheritance to whom He will of His servants" (Quran, Chapter 7, Verse 128). This verse teaches that the earth and all its resources belong to God, and it is our responsibility as His servants to care for and protect it.

Another important principle in the Quran is the concept of balance and harmony in the natural world. The Quran states, "And the earth We have spread out, and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion" (Quran, Chapter 15, Verse 19). This verse teaches that there is a natural balance and harmony in the earth, and it is our responsibility to maintain this balance and not disrupt it through our actions.

The Quran also emphasizes the importance of preserving natural resources for future generations. The Quran states, "And do not waste; indeed, Allah does not like the wasteful" (Quran, Chapter 6, Verse 141). This verse teaches that it is not only important to use natural resources responsibly, but also to ensure that they are not wasted and are available for future generations.

In addition, the Quran also teaches the importance of protecting and preserving the natural beauty of the earth. The Quran states, "And the earth – We have spread it out, and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind" (Quran, Chapter 50, Verse 7). This verse highlights the beauty and diversity of the earth, and encourages us to protect and preserve it for future generations to enjoy.

Furthermore, the Quran teaches the importance of preserving the biodiversity of the earth. The Quran states, "It is He who has made the earth manageable for you, so traverse through its regions and eat from His provision. And to Him is the resurrection" (Quran, Chapter 67, Verse 15). This verse teaches that the earth is provided for us and we should not exploit it, but rather respect and preserve it.

Lastly, the Quran teaches the importance of taking care of the environment and preserving it for future generations. The Quran states, "And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance, that you not be in the earth transgression" (Quran, Chapter 55, Verse 7-8). This verse teaches that the earth is a delicate balance and we must act responsibly and protect it for the future.

In conclusion, the Quran teaches the importance of environmental protection and preservation through the principles of stewardship, balance and harmony in the natural world, preserving resources for future generations, protecting and preserving the natural beauty of the earth, preserving biodiversity, and respecting the delicate balance of the earth. It is our responsibility as Muslims to take these teachings to heart and work to protect and preserve the earth for future generations.
